Ruder Finn to Promote Rathe/PGI's Smithsonian Tour New York, June 2, 1997 -- Ruder Finn is working on a new project with Rathe/PGI to publicize the Smithsonian Institution's "America's Smithsonian," the largest museum exhibition ever put on the road. Nearly 2.5 million visitors have seen "America's Smithsonian" in seven American cities. The exhibit presents more than 300 artifacts from the Smithsonian's collection including the Apollo 14 lunar command capsule, Abraham Lincoln's top hat and the ruby slippers from the "Wizard of Oz." The Agency is promoting the museum tour in Birmingham, AL and in San Jose, CA, as well as prospects for the tour to expand nationally and internationally.
