For almost 50 years, Ruder Finn has developed economic development and tourism programs for both domestic and international clients. Whether it be a city, county, state, country, global hotel chain, airline, resort, or international organizing committee for special events, this division has handled it.

Utilizing the expertise from many other R-F specialty groups including Public Affairs, Consumer Marketing, and Environmental Communications, the Tourism and Economic Development division has worked with the governments of Israel, Greece, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, Switzerland, New Zealand and Japan. And, as advisors to the World Bank, we have been involved with programs for Hungary, Turkey and Morocco.

Cultural programs have been developed for Italy, Spain, Egypt, Brazil and all five Scandinavian countries, and major tourism authorities who have been clients include Dade County, Florida; Johnstown, Pennsylvania; New Orleans, Louisiana; and, the Lyon region of France. Among the many hotels and resorts located throughout the world, we have worked with Hyatt, Westin, Hilton, St. James's Club, and Universal Studios in Florida.
