Ruder Finn is a pioneer in involving the business community in the arts as a means of achieving corporate public relations benefits while providing new sources of support for contemporary artists. This expertise and practice discipline of the firm was the foundation upon which our almost 50-year old agency was built; at the time, in 1948, the concept was considered not only innovative but revolutionary.

Today, Ruder Finn is recognized as the leader in working with arts and cultural organizations as well as entertainment companies and industrial and consumer products corporations that sponsor arts and cultural programs.

Three divisions of Ruder Finn's Arts & Entertainment Group provide counsel and public relations support for a wide range of clients: Arts & Communications Counselors focuses and specializes in arts PR and cultural marketing for museums and galleries around the world, including the Guggenheim, Getty, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Hakone Museum, Japan, and the Goulandris Natural History Museum, Greece. Additionally, this division works with major corporations in developing and publishing corporate history books.

The second division, Entertainment Marketing, services a growing list of corporate event sponsors as well as the entertainment industry, developing comprehensive campaigns for events and promotions as diverse as a national country music tour, a jazz festival in Brooklyn, a theatrical production in London, and a CD-ROM game.

The third division within the Arts & Entertainment Marketing Group is Planned Television Arts, a group of 30+ that specializes in serving the publishing and entertainment industries. With international production capabilities, this group promotes clients ranging from best-selling authors to corporate spokespeople and works directly with producers of national, international and local television and radio programs, as well as with editors and reporters of all major print outlets.
