Based on last summer's smash comedy
film, this series continues the madcap adventures of Cher (Rachael Blanchard),
the irrepressible Beverly Hills teen. Along for the ride are her best friend
Dionne (Stacey Dash), fashion victim Amber (Elisa Donovan) and New York
transplant Tai (Heather Gottlieb). Rounding out the crew are streetwise-wannabes
Murray (Donald Faison) and Sean (Sean Holland), who delight in ragging on the
girls. Valiantly attempting to steer them through life (and away from Rodeo
Drive) is Cher's dad, Mel (Michael Lerner), and her teachers, Mr. Hall (Wallace
Shawn), and Miss Geist (Twink Caplan). Goodhearted Cher devotes herself to the
care and feeding of her Dad, makeovers and matchmaking, as well as a constant
dose of unsolicited therapy to everyone in her orbit. From Paramount Television.
